Husqvarna Group is now seeking a Group Accountant (the position is a one‑year temporary assignment). In this role, you will be working with consolidation, reporting, and system support. You will act as a key link between our subsidiaries, Group Finance, and external auditors, ensuring that our financial reporting is accurate, transparent, and delivered on time.
About the role
Are you passionate about group accounting and IFRS, and motivated by working in a truly international environment? Husqvarna Group is looking for a Group Accountant who will take responsibility for consolidation, reporting, and system administration. You will collaborate closely with both subsidiaries and Group Finance, playing a central role in securing high‑quality financial reporting across the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Execute the Group’s financial consolidation process for monthly, quarterly, and year‑end closings, delivering accurate and compliant consolidated reports under IFRS.
- Ensure consistent application of IFRS, Group reporting principles, and internal policies.
- Maintain and develop the Group reporting framework (Accounting Manual) to ensure alignment across subsidiaries.
- Perform and document internal controls related to financial reporting and contribute to continuous process improvements.
- Prepare financial analyses and provide insights to support decision‑making at Group level.
- Collaborate with subsidiary finance teams to clarify reporting requirements and resolve accounting or consolidation issues.
- Support external audit activities, including preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
What we’re looking for
- Experience in group accounting, consolidation, or financial reporting within a multi‑entity environment.
- Knowledge of IFRS and the ability to validate and analyze financial data.
- Hands‑on experience with consolidation systems; AARO experience is a strong advantage.
- Advanced Excel skills (data handling, validation, reconciliations).
- Experience with annual report processes and auditor interactions is highly valued.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in interacting with subsidiaries and Group functions via Teams, phone, and email.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); Swedish is an advantage.
- Ability to work from our Stockholm office at least 50% of the time (hybrid setup).
