About the role and key responsibilities:
As Lead Accountant at TRATON Financial Services, you step into a role where your expertise genuinely matters. You will take ownership of the accounting and financial reporting for TRATON Financial Services AB and TRATON Treasury AB, two key entities at the center of our financial operations.
You’ll lead and support a small, dedicated team of two accountants, ensuring accurate and timely reporting in line with Swedish K3 and IFRS. Your work strengthens the quality, transparency and reliability of our financial landscape.
In this role, you will manage monthly, quarterly and annual closings, oversee statutory annual reports, and act as the main point of contact for auditors and internal stakeholders. You’ll collaborate closely with the Head of Group Accounting and work across the wider TRATON Finance Community, including colleagues in Finance, Treasury, Risk and global reporting, as well as external partners such as auditors, tax authorities and banks.
If you enjoy combining hands‑on accounting with broader responsibility, and want to contribute to a growing international organization, this role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact.
About you
You are an experienced accounting professional who enjoys taking ownership and working in an international setting. You combine strong technical skills with a collaborative, structured and down‑to‑earth approach.
- A university degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent
- 10+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting or audit
- Solid knowledge of Swedish GAAP (K2/K3) and experience with IFRS
- Experience preparing annual reports and coordinating audits
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Confidence managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Excellent communication skills and ease in working with global stakeholders
- Leadership experience or the ability to guide and support team members
You thrive in a role that blends hands‑on accounting with broader responsibility — improving processes, strengthening controls and ensuring accuracy.
